Speaking
Giving illustrated talks is another medium through which I like to tell local stories and the interaction with the audience makes each talk different.
One of the talks is titled House on the Black Hillside and I have given this on many occasions at Plas Tan y Bwlch to people on walking courses. Keeping people awake, after a long day’s walking followed by a hearty supper and maybe a pint at the bar, can be quite a challenge!
Typically I do talks for local societies, Rotary Clubs, wildlife groups and branches of U3A. A popular talk is a comparison of Triglav, the national park of Slovenia, which is twinned with Snowdonia.
