Commissions

Word has got around that I like to write and I have worked on several commissions. I particularly enjoyed working with the National Trust to create a booklet about Hafod y Llan, the 4,000 acre farm that stretches to the summit of Snowdon and which was purchased in 1998 following a massive public appeal that raised £5m.

More recently I have written the content for a brochure for the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways aimed at strangers to the area. The steam trains are brilliant but there are many others in the UK so the challenge in 2,000 words was to describe the railways unique character within the Snowdonia context.

Occasionally I will write about things outside of Snowdonia and have worked on a series of articles for Corporate Wales to describe work being done by universities, city regeneration and hotel developments.
